MineConnect, in partnership with Laurentian University’s Goodman School of Mines, has issued a Request for Proposals for the design and production of new physical game kits for the MineOpportunity Challenge. The MineOpportunity Challenge is a hands-on career exploration game that introduces students to careers in mining, skilled trades, advanced manufacturing, and the mining supply and services sector.
As the program continues to grow, the existing game materials need to be updated so they are easier to transport, set up, store, and use in both classrooms and larger events. The successful proponent will work with the project team to refine the current game-board design, develop a prototype, and produce English and French game kits. The work will also include the game pieces, printed materials, storage, packaging, and carrying cases needed for delivery.
MineConnect is interested in hearing from companies with experience in areas such as board-game production, printing, product design, manufacturing, prototyping, educational materials, and packaging.
