MineConnect invites procurement professionals and decision-makers from Ontario’s mining sector to take part in a unique and meaningful experience at our inaugural MineConnect Mine Managers’ golf tournament, taking place on September 8, 2025, at the Red Lake and Area Golf and Country Club.
Before the tournament, an online auction will give suppliers the chance to bid for a coveted 9-hole round alongside you! It’s a fun, informal way to build connections while supporting a great cause: all auction proceeds will go directly to the Red Lake Indian Friendship Centre’s Apatisiwin Employment & Training Program, which supports employment and training opportunities for Indigenous community members. Join us for a day on the green that blends business, community, and impact.
Dinner
Get your taste buds ready for an unforgettable evening! Expedition Group is bringing a delicious dinner specially crafted for the event—flavorsome dishes, carefully selected wines, and a warm, communal atmosphere to end the day on a high note. All of this will be enjoyed in a classic mining mess hall setting, creating a true feast to be shared among industry peers.
Transportation
Attendees will have various transportation options for the round-trip journey from Thunder Bay to Red Lake, including helicopter, charter flights (at an additional cost), or travel on their own.
Ground transportation to and from the accommodations and the golf course will be provided.

Accommodations
For those looking to fully immerse themselves in the experience, attendees will have the unique opportunity to stay in authentic fly-in, remote mining camp-style accommodations, courtesy of Expedition Group—adding a spirit of adventure to every aspect of the event. For those who prefer a more traditional stay, a room block has been reserved at the Super 8 for added comfort and convenience.
