Mine reclamation event coming to Sudbury in September

Sudbury will play host to the 14th annual Ontario Mine Reclamation Symposium and Field Trip this September.

Scheduled to take place Sept. 24-25, the event is an initiative of the Canadian Land Reclamation Association and the Ontario Mining Association.

Few details are yet available; however, organizers are currently accepting abstracts for technical and oral presentations. Interested participants are invited to send abstracts to Peter Beckett at pbeckett@laurentian.ca by Aug. 15.

The event is expected to draw mining industry delegates from across the province for two days of presentations, tours of the area, and networking opportunities.
