CIM Sudbury Branch Receives 2023 Mel W. Bartley Outstanding Branch Award

The Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) Sudbury Branch is pleased to announce that we have been awarded the prestigious 2023 Mel W. Bartley Outstanding Branch Award. This award is presented by the CIM annually and recognizes one outstanding branch for their contributions to their community, dedication to the industry, and overall excellence.

The CIM Sudbury Branch was selected for this award based on our commitment to supporting the mining industry and our strong involvement in the community. We have been dedicated to promoting best practices, advancing technical knowledge, and providing educational and networking opportunities to our members.”It’s truly an honour for the CIM Sudbury Branch to be recognized with the Mel W. Bartley Outstanding Branch Award. This award represents the hard work and dedication of our members, volunteers, and staff who have tirelessly supported our branch and the mining industry in our community,” said Neil Milner, Chair of the Board.

This award was presented on May 1, 2023 at the CIM Convention held in Montreal, Quebec. The CIM Sudbury Branch is grateful for the recognition of our achievements and we look forward to continuing to support the mining industry in our community.
