During CIM Connect in Montreal, MineConnect, 48e Nord International and Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership co-hosted a cross-province hospitality afternoon with project presentations from three mining companies on the afternoon of May 4th. It was an enlightening afternoon with presentations from Discovery Silver and Dumont Nickel. A meet and greet followed at le Palais des congrès de Montreal. We also took the opportunity to visit with our members who exhibited in the Northern Ontario Mining Showcase! Thank you to all who attended, to our guest speakers, co-hosts, and our sponsors. It was good to see Greg Rickford, Ontario’s Minister of Northern Development, at CIM Connect, visiting NOMS exhibitors and talking to Northern Ontario businesses about their challenges and opportunities.
