Revitalizing Exploration: A New Era for the Ontario Prospectors Association
The revitalization of the Ontario Prospectors Association (OPA) is well underway,
and we are excited about the transformation ahead. We are recruiting for new
Board members who represent the diversity and strength of the exploration
community! As well we are initiating a search for a dynamic Executive Director.
The foundation is being laid for a renewed and resilient organisation. This fresh
direction has already sparked renewed interest in the OPA, and we are confident
it will attract a new generation of explorationists, while continuing to foster
strong support from the exploration and mining industry.
We commend the new Ontario government in advancing a more efficient
permitting process and providing meaningful incentives to drive discovery and
welcome the continued support of the investment community.
With gold prices strengthening and the demand for critical minerals, the market
sentiment is improving. Our timing could not be better to energize the sector
and reaffirm Ontario’s leadership in mineral exploration
