Nickel City Steel Limited is a structural steel, custom platework and miscellaneous steel industrial fabricator. Established in 1968 and incorporated in 1971, we operate out of our 32,000 square foot fabricating facility. Our decades of experience allows us to service the mining, smelting, energy, oil & gas, steelmaking, lumber, pulp & paper and construction industries locally, nationally and internationally from our location in Lively (Sudbury), Ontario, Canada.
Considerable investment in plate burning and fabrication automation as well as lifting capabilities enables us to more efficiently and competitively address larger fabricated tonnages (up to 3,000 tons) as well as more complex platework projects. Our vast experience in fabrication includes but is not limited to industrial, commercial and institutional buildings, headframes, full shaft steelwork, towers, tanks, chutes, bins, ductwork and supports, industrial furnace structural and platework, underground station steelwork, pipe supports, grizzlies and shaft sinking crossheads. We also fabricate industrial platforms, stairs and handrail. Detailing and painting facilities are in house.
