Komatsu Mining Corporation’s brand histories date back to 1884, when the P&H brand – now a leading name in surface mining equipment – was established. The Joy brand of underground mining equipment and services was founded in 1919, and Montabert – maker of rock breakers and heavy-duty attachments for mining and construction equipment – was founded in 1921.
