Modern Mining & Technology Sudbury seeking companies to participate in Sudbury Mining Week’s MineOpportunity Games at Laurentian University in Sudbury on May 1st, 2024.
In this dynamic game, high school students work together to become the “wealthiest” team by successfully answering questions, completing challenges and activities in mining technology, engineering, geosciences, the environment, careers, corporate social responsibility and more.
Anticipated attendance: 250-300 students from English/French High Schools to participate.
Wanted:
- Companies/volunteers to become part of the game by setting up a booth, providing 5 questions about a career, skill or fact related to your business, and one hands-on activity (approx 5 mins).
- Volunteers on May 1st to help with game delivery
This is a great opportunity to not only engage with students thereby increasing their knowledge of mining in the region, but to showcase your business and its commitment to career development.
