The 2025 Goodman Gold Challenge is getting underway.
An initiative of the Goodman School of Mines at Laurentian University, the annual event challenges teams of university students to evaluate the stock portfolios of three gold-mining companies trading on the TSX or TSX-V and recommend the company with the best investment potential. A panel of experts will judge their case studies and crown a winner.
The event will take place Jan. 29-31, 2025, at Laurentian University.
For this, the seventh edition, the three participating companies are G Mining Ventures Corp., Meridian Mining, and Omai Gold Mines.
The goal is to give students real-world experience in mining investment. The winning team takes home prize money worth the equivalent of four ounces of gold.
