Recap of MineConnect's Temiskaming Shores Roadshow

On May 22nd, MineConnect and the Haileybury School of Mines hosted a memorable Roadshow at Wabi Iron & Steel Corp. The evening was filled with pride for the region’s mining roots and excitement for the future.

Stan Gorzalczynski captivated the audience with a presentation on Wabi’s 118-year legacy of innovation and leadership in mining. From hoist cages to metallurgy, Wabi’s story is a testament to the resilience and ingenuity of Canada’s mining sector.

The evening wrapped up with live music from Rob & Jazz, great conversations, and plenty of networking.
