Nominations are now open for the MineConnect Hall of Fame.
The province’s mining supply and service community annually selects industry leaders for recognition, acknowledging those who have made outstanding contributions to the industry.
“Ontario’s mining supply and service companies have impacted the evolution of mining worldwide. They are responsible for much of the innovation employed today to increase mineral production while making it a safer and healthier working environment for miners,” MineConnect said of the initiative.
“Making all this happen are industry leaders who continually strive for improvement in products and processes, resulting in one of the world’s most recognized supply and service clusters.
“MineConnect honours those pioneers — both living or deceased — by inducting outstanding leaders to our Hall of Fame during each annual general meeting, where the time, effort and competencies that these visionaries have brought to Ontario is publicly acknowledged.
Since it launched in 2007, 31 names have been added to the Hall.
