Nominations now open: OCI Artificial Intelligence Awards powered by AWS

Nominations for the OCI Artificial Intelligence Awards powered by AWS Canada are now open until Sunday, February 8, 2026 (midnight).

These are five brand-new awards recognizing leading Ontario SMEs using AI to drive measurable impact across Ontario’s priority industrial sectors.

🏆 The 5 Awards

  • 2026 AWS Artificial Intelligence Innovation Award (overall, sector-agnostic)
  • OCI Artificial Intelligence Award for Mining powered by AWS
  • OCI Artificial Intelligence Award for Construction powered by AWS
  • OCI Artificial Intelligence Award for Advanced Manufacturing powered by AWS
  • OCI Artificial Intelligence Award for Agri-Food powered by AWS

Each winning company receives $10,000 total value:

$5,000 cash + $5,000 in AWS Cloud Credits

Who can be nominated?

Eligible nominees must be Ontario-based SMEs (under 500 employees) and demonstrate significant, quantitative impact through AI adoption or integration.

Companies do not need to be a current CIT recipient to participate.

Nomination deadline: February 8, 2026 (midnight)

Voting period: begins February 11, 2026 (award-dependent windows)
