Northern delegates to gather in North Bay for Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities event
The Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities (FONOM) has released a preliminary agenda for its 2022 conference.
Scheduled to take place May 9-11 at the Best Western hotel in North Bay, this year’s conference will return to an in-person format, following last year’s virtual event.
This year’s theme is ‘Big Data Means Big Ideas.’ Appearing as the keynote speaker is Doug Griffiths, president and CEO of 13 Ways Inc. and the author of 13 Ways to Kill Your Community.
The book stems from Griffiths’ travels across Alberta as a Member of the Legislative Assembly Assembly (MLA) when he was tasked to create a rural development strategy for the province.
