From May 25–28, 2026, Greater Sudbury will once again host Mining the Future Week, a dynamic, multi-day event bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders to explore the future of mining and the critical minerals value chain.
The week features three flagship events designed to showcase cutting-edge advancements and foster meaningful connections across the sector. NORCAT‘s Mining Transformed (May 25–27) offers a one-of-a-kind experience as the world’s only technology exhibition hosted within an active underground mine. Attendees can also take part in the MICA Demo & Networking Night, an evening dedicated to live technology demonstrations and industry networking.
CIM Short Courses will be offered on May 27th as part of Mining The Future Week.
The week concludes with the BEV In-Depth Conference (May 28), focused on innovation and transformation across the battery electric vehicle and critical minerals ecosystem.
