The MineOpportunity Games offer a unique blend of education and entertainment to provide students in grades 9-12 with valuable insights into careers within the mineral resources industry. As a participant, your company will have the opportunity to engage with over 300 French and English high school students, guiding them through challenges and activities focused on mining technology, engineering, geosciences, environmental sustainability, business, health and safety, corporate social responsibility, trades, and more.
Your involvement will not only contribute to the education and career development of local students, but also showcase your company’s commitment to supporting the future of the industry. The event also provides excellent networking opportunities with other participating companies and educational institutions.

Hosted by Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne’s Goodman School of Mines (GSM) and Modern Mining & Technology Sudbury (MMTS), this event is part of the activities for Sudbury Mining Week.
North Bay – MineOpportunity Games

MineConnect, in partnership with Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne’s Goodman School of Mines (GSM), is hosting the third annual Mine Opportunity Challenge in North Bay as part of the CIM Northern Gateway Branch’s educational outreach programs.
