MineConnect’s 2nd Annual MineConnect Industry Leaders Golf Tournament, taking place September 8th in Thunder Bay, is officially sold out!
Registered participants still have one important item to add to their tournament preparations: bidding for the opportunity to have one of MineConnect’s featured industry leaders join their foursome!
The Industry Leaders Golf Tournament Online Auction closes this Friday, September 4 at 12 p.m. (noon) EDT, just as the Labour Day long weekend gets underway.
Successful bidders will spend the round golfing alongside an accomplished mining industry leader. It is a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss current industry priorities and build relationships on the course.

Not Golfing? You Can Still Support Oshki-Wenjack
Proceeds from the auction will benefit the trades-training programs offered by Oshki-Wenjack, an Indigenous post-secondary education and training institute serving learners and communities across Northwestern Ontario. Oshki-Wenjack’s community-based programs prepare Indigenous learners for careers in the skilled trades through pre-apprenticeship training and other employment-focused learning opportunities. Supporting these programs helps learners develop practical skills and pursue meaningful career pathways while contributing to the skilled workforce needed by Ontario’s mining industry.
Not golfing but would like to contribute? You can support this initiative by donating through the auction site. Look for the Donate button near the top of the page. Contributions will not receive a charitable tax receipt unless otherwise confirmed by Oshki-Wenjack.
Every bid and donation is an investment in education, workforce development and economic reconciliation.
