Marla, Heather and Lisa from the MineConnect team attended the largest mining industry event in the world, MINExpo International from September 24-26, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. We had a fantastic time engaging with members and industry leaders, fostering new relationships, and strengthening existing partnerships.
55 MineConnect members exhibited at MINExpo 2024 either through the Northern Ontario Mining Showcase, within the MSTA Canada Pavilion, or on their own. Northern Ontario was well represented!

MINExpo – Nevada and Ontario Info Session & Networking
During MINExpo, MineConnect co-hosted an event with the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) intended to bolster the supply chain resiliency between Nevada and Ontario’s mining, manufacturing and technology sectors.
This event brought together key stakeholders holders including; GOED Executive Director, Thomas Burns; Ontario Minister of Mines, George Pirie; Ontario Associate Minister of Mines, Stephen Crawford; as well as representatives from Nevada GOED, University of Reno, Nevada Mining Association, Ontario Ministry of Northern Development, US Commercial Service Toronto.
