Brought to you by MineConnect, in partnership with Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne’s Goodman School of Mines (GSM), this event engages with local high school students seeking to learn more about career opportunities in the mining industry. The MineOpportunity Games, originally designed by Nicole Tardiff , Program Coordinator of the Goodman School of Mines, to teach her Geology students that there was more to mining than finding rocks, offer a unique blend of education and entertainment to provide students in grades 9-12 with valuable insights into careers within the mineral resources industry.
As a participant, your company will have the opportunity to engage with French and English high school students, guiding them through challenges and activities focused on mining technology, engineering, geosciences, environmental sustainability, business, health and safety, corporate social responsibility, trades, and more.
Your involvement will not only contribute to the education and career development of local students, but also showcase your company’s commitment to supporting the future of the industry.
