Built for Predictable Delivery
For more than 40 years, ProMart Industrial Products Ltd. has supported heavy industrial and infrastructure projects across Ontario and beyond. Based in Sarnia, the company is a CWB-certified structural steel fabrication and industrial coatings contractor, known for delivering complex scopes safely, reliably, and on schedule.
ProMart offers end-to-end delivery, handling estimating, in-house detailing, fabrication, surface preparation and coatings, and field installation. This integrated approach helps clients reduce coordination risk and maintain schedule certainty, particularly on projects where safety, quality, and predictability are critical.

“Our focus has always been disciplined execution,” says Marc Parizeau, Vice President of Operations. “Clients come to us because they need work done right the first time, in environments where there’s very little room for error.”
A Legacy Built on Craftsmanship and Accountability
ProMart has grown steadily from its roots in Sarnia into a fully integrated steel partner serving industrial clients across North America. Today, the company is proudly operated by the third generation of the Lajoie family, continuing a legacy built on craftsmanship, accountability, and long-term relationships.

That continuity of leadership, combined with ongoing investment in people, facilities, and systems, has allowed ProMart to scale while maintaining a hands-on culture.
“Our size allows us to stay close to the work,” Parizeau explains. “We’re directly involved, we’re accountable, and we stand behind what we deliver.”
Supporting Mining and Heavy Industry Across Ontario
ProMart brings extensive experience supporting mining and industrial projects throughout Ontario. Its capabilities include structural steel fabrication, modular assemblies, access platforms, stair systems, skids and frames, industrial coatings, and field installation support.

With a 24,000-square-foot climate-controlled coatings facility, significant laydown capacity, and teams active in Sarnia, Sault Ste. Marie, and Hamilton, ProMart is well positioned to support both greenfield and brownfield mining work. The company regularly delivers packages designed for constructability, schedule reliability, and long-term performance, particularly in remote and logistically challenging environments.

A Project That Reflects ProMart’s Strengths
One project the team is especially proud of is its involvement in the AST2 build at Nova Chemicals in Canada’s Chemical Valley. The project required precise planning, close coordination, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
“This was exactly the type of environment where ProMart does its best work,” says Parizeau. “It demanded coordination, buildable steel packages, and absolute focus on safety and quality. Our team delivered with professionalism and pride.”
Looking Ahead: Mining, Modularization, and Partnerships
ProMart sees strong opportunity in Ontario’s growing mining sector, particularly as projects move from development into construction and sustaining capital.
Key areas of focus include early works and site infrastructure, modular and prefabricated steel packages to reduce field labour and improve safety, brownfield upgrades and shutdown support, and corrosion protection solutions that extend asset life.

“We see modularization and predictable execution becoming more important than ever,” Parizeau says. “Mining projects need partners who can reduce risk, shorten schedules, and deliver reliably. That’s where we add value.”
The company is also expanding its ability to deliver broader scopes through joint venture partnerships, including a recently announced JV with Three Fires Group, a First Nation-owned organization focused on long-term economic participation.

“This partnership is about doing things the right way,” Parizeau notes. “Real collaboration, shared outcomes, and work that benefits communities beyond a single project.”
Community Roots and Industry Connection
ProMart remains closely connected to the communities where it operates, with strong involvement in youth sports and local sponsorships, supporting families and community organizations while investing in the next generation.
The company joined MineConnect to build long-term relationships within Ontario’s mining ecosystem and to stay closely connected to upcoming project opportunities.
“MineConnect gives us access to the right conversations,” says Parizeau. “It helps us understand where projects are headed and how we can support owners and EPCs as a dependable Ontario-based partner.”
With four decades of proven delivery, an integrated shop-to-field model, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and partnership, ProMart Industrial Products continues to position itself as a trusted execution partner for mining and industrial projects across Ontario.
