OTTAWA – J.L. Richards & Associates Limited (JLR) is proud to announce the rollout of our first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). This plan demonstrates JLR’s commitment of advancing awareness to build trust in collaboration with Indigenous peoples across Canada. The RAP’s purpose is to shape JLR’s approach to reconciliation as it relates to the Government of Canada’s Call to Action 92.
“The RAP is a significant step towards fostering meaningful relationships and respect between JLR and Indigenous peoples,” says Grant Campbell, Indigenous Market Leader.
JLR’s RAP focuses on opportunities by developing resources for Indigenous staff, providing education and training for all staff, employing responsible business practices, and holding ourselves accountable. In addition, our RAP is developing improvements to youth outreach, community relations, Indigenous economic support, and spreading the message of reconciliation with others.
JLR has been working closely with Indigenous communities for many years. We value our many partnerships with Indigenous communities and are proud of the collaboration towards successful projects and important learning relationships. We believe that through these actions, we can create a more inclusive and equitable future for everyone.
