The Canadian Mining Hall of Fame Board of Directors has extended a formal invitation to MineConnect members and partners to attend the 37th Annual Canadian Mining Hall of Fame Dinner and Celebration. This distinguished event will take place on Thursday, January 9th, 2025, in Toronto.
The late Don MacLean is being honoured this year. Don was the founder and Chairman of the Board of MacLean Engineering who had lifelong connections to the mining industry, having been brought up in the mining camps of northern Ontario and Quebec. Don started MacLean Engineering with a vision of improving safety in the underground mining industry and over the past 50 years, he developed the company to the global mining presence that it has today. Don cared not only about the company but also about all the employees who helped him build it. Don was inducted into MineConnect’s Hall of Fame in 2016.
The annual gathering is a hallmark event in Canadian mining, celebrating the achievements and contributions of individuals who have had a profound impact on the industry. The evening will provide a unique opportunity to recognize the honorees and connect with peers across Canada’s mining sector, while also supporting a continued legacy of innovation and excellence.
