Do you remember being in high school and wondering, “What’s next?” Your career journey, full of pivots, detours, and lessons, could be exactly the guidance a student needs right now.
MineConnect is supporting the Ontario Career Lab in the Sudbury area, giving professionals from all fields an opportunity to share their experiences with Grade 9 and 10 students. Whether you work in healthcare, mining, education, tech, trades, business, or the arts, your story can help students feel confident, informed, and inspired about their future.
How it works:
- Share how you found your direction, even if it took time.
- Discuss your chosen path—college, university, apprenticeship, skilled trades, entrepreneurship, or entering the workforce.
- Reflect on challenges, detours, and defining moments that shaped your journey.
Sessions are short and flexible, ranging from 30-minute conversations to in-person or virtual school visits. Upcoming in-person dates in Sudbury include:
- March 3 (8:00 AM – 9:40 AM)
- April 14 (12:45 PM – 2:25 PM)
- April 15 (11:30 AM – 1:00 PM)
