In March, we announced that with the support of the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED), the Northeastern Nevada Regional Development Authority (NNRDA) had launched its Silver Link program and the latest development within that, the Master Links program. Both programs are intended to address supply-chain gaps in Nevada’s mining industry and better serve the needs of both mine operators and service providers.
The Master Link program operates within Silver Link to collaborate with companies and associations that can service the Nevada market. Once designated as a Master Link, companies can enjoy various benefits, including insider access to RFI’s. MineConnect members will have the first right of refusal to bid on RFPs. The first proposal that MineConnect members have advance notice of is regarding Copper Concentrate Processing. This RFP will be posted for the public next week. The file is posted below. Download it for full details.
Companies that bid successfully, are eligible for grant funds of up to $5,000 USD for business expenses to help Master Links partners set up operations within the state should they wish to.
We will share these RFPs in MineConnect e-News as they are received.
