Federal funds will secure 2023 mining showcase

Northern Ontario Mining Showcase will return to Toronto next spring

Northern Ontario’s mining service and supply cluster will return to the world’s premier mining show in 2023, thanks to support funding from FedNor.

On Nov. 17, FedNor Minister Patty Hajdu announced the federal government is providing $745,000 for the Northern Ontario Mining Showcase (NOMS) to appear at the annual convention of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC).

The event, which is scheduled to take place March 5-8, 2023, is led by the City of Temiskaming Shores.
