Mackenzie Crabbe, a Graduate Student at the University of Waterloo has launched a survey to explore the drivers, enablers, and barriers to technology adoption in the mining sector in Canada. This survey will be used to inform her master’s thesis, entitled Exploring Technology Adoption in the Mineral Mining Industry in Canada, supervised by Dr. Heather Hall, University of Waterloo.
This research study is also part of a larger, national research study entitled Remote Controlled: Technology in the Mining Sector and the Future of Development in Rural and Northern Regions led by Dr. Heather Hall. Summaries of the data from this survey may be shared with the national research team to inform the broader project.
