As cybersecurity threats continue to evolve, businesses in the mining sector must take proactive measures to protect their operations. Led by Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst (Toronto Metropolitan University) and the Canadian Cyber Threat Exchange (CCTX), and funded by the Government of Ontario, the Cyber Integration for Businesses program supports organizations operating in key sectors with their unique cybersecurity challenges.
No technical knowledge is required, and all programming is provided at no cost to participants.
Developed in collaboration with leading industry experts, this program will equip businesses working in the mining sector with the cybersecurity knowledge, tools, and best practices they need to safeguard the future of mining against emerging cyber threats.

For Executives and Technical Leaders
A live webinar will provide an overview of the evolving cybersecurity landscape in the mining industry. An expert panel will discuss cybersecurity threats, strategies, and best practices tailored to mining operations.

2. Cybersecurity Bootcamp
For Technical and Non-Technical Professionals
This specialized bootcamp is designed for mining sector professionals responsible for technology planning, procurement, integration, and operations. Participants will engage in experiential learning, interactive discussions, and receive insights from cybersecurity experts.
Program Details:
- Duration: Six weeks (two hours of virtual programming per week)
- Dates: Every Thursday from May 15 – June 19, 2025
- Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM EDT

- Cost: Thanks to funding provided by the Government of Ontario, the program is free.
Participants will receive job aids such as checklists and templates for use within their organizations. Qualifying companies will also gain access to a one-year associate membership with the Canadian Cyber Threat Exchange.
