Under the auspices of Ontario’s North Economic Development Corporation (ONEDC), with funding support from FedNor and the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC), MineConnect is excited to announce the second intake of the Elko Nevada initiative that was launched in the spring of 2021. We are once again asking Northern Ontario companies interested in expanding operations to Nevada to complete the registration PDF attached below.

Through an open recruitment process, the program will select ten qualified Northern Ontario companies seeking to establish a presence within the State of Nevada as initial tenants. Each application will be evaluated against the following criteria:

• Demonstrated experience in exporting mining products and services (including to the US);
  • Experience in establishing operations outside of Northern Ontario;
  • Ability to commit the necessary human and financial resources towards developing the Nevada market, including the possibility of establishing a permanent footprint;
  • Export readiness, including the development of the export strategy;
  • Demonstrable economic benefits to Northern Ontario as a result of your participation.
