A total of $40 million is available over two years for companies to expand tools, technology, workforce
Ontario manufacturing companies are being invited to apply to a new funding program designed to outfit them with new tools and technology to grow and stay competitive in the international market.
The province launched the two-year, $40-million Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Competitiveness (AMIC) program on Jan. 17.
It’s aimed at small companies that need to purchase equipment and advanced technologies, and hire skilled workers in order to keep innovating and growing.
