For more than 40 years, Metex has served the fabrication needs of a diverse range of industries, including mining, pulp and paper, civil construction and energy. We offer a one-stop shop for carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and specialty alloy fabrication. From start to finish, we have you covered – from initial design, through cutting and welding to final finishing.

Founded in 1980 as Copper Cliff Mechanical and Insulation, it serviced primarily the Northern Ontario Mining Industry. By 2000, the company had grown significantly, and was split into separate businesses, with the field installation division becoming CCM Contracting Ltd. and the fabrication division becoming Metex Manufacturing Ltd.
