MineConnect Board to Host Visioning Session

At its recent Board meeting, MineConnect Directors elected to host a one-day visioning retreat for the intended purpose of developing a new Strategic Plan for the organization. Announced Board President, Rick Lemieux; “With our new brand and focus as a pan-northern organization announced earlier this year, the Board feels it is timely to review our core values, mission statement and direction especially as they relate to our role and the services to our members and partner organizations. Central to this is our responsibility to members to ensure that MineConnect’s value proposition is in line with their evolving needs and expectations”.

The one-day session to be held in late July, will result in the development and adoption of a new 3-Year Strategic Plan to guide staff in their preparation of annual work plans. Said Lemieux; “As part of this process, it is important that we understand our members and what they value, to ensure we provide the required support services to help them to grow and prosper. I encourage our members to provide their views on how they see the development of the organization and what is important to them moving forward.
